Abstract

The papa describes and evaluates the taxonomic value of the epidermal features and venation pattern of the leaves of 11 species of Apocynaceae viz., Carissa carandas Linn., C. congesta Wight, C. hirsuta Roth, C. inemis Vahl, C. opaca Stapf ex Parker, C. paucinervia A. DC., C. spinarum Linn., C. suavissima Bedd. ex Hook.f., Trachelospermum lucidum (D. Don) K. Schum., Vinca major Linn. and Willoughbeia edulis Roxb.
