Two mosses new to the Western Ghats from the Nilgiri Hills

Abstract

A recent study made on the bryoflora of Nilgiri Hills reports the occurrence of two species of mosses Didymodon  icmadophilus  and Haplocladium  angustifolium for the first time in the Western Ghats. Detailed descriptions supported by figures and notes on their habitats and distributions are provided.
