Zeuxine agyokuana (Orchidaceae), a new record for Arunachal Pradesh, India
Abstract
Zeuxine agyokuana Fukuy. belonging to the family Orchidaceae is reported here as an addition to the Flora of Arunachal Pradesh, India. The species belonging to the ‘Jewel Orchid’ group was earlier known from West Bengal and Meghalaya in India and also from some other countries (China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam). A detailed morphological description along with photographs of plants are provided.
