Abstract

Two new herbaceous plants Pogostemon paniculatus  and Cyclocodon lancifolius are recorded for the first time from Tripura. Both species are found in hilly slope and margins of the evergreen forest. Brief taxonomic descriptions along with photographs are provided for easy identification.
