Arisaema caudatum (Araceae): A new distributional record for the Southern Eastern Ghats, India

Abstract

Arisaema caudatum Engl. (Araceae) is reported here as a new distributional record for the Southern Eastern Ghats of Tamil Nadu. This species had previously been known to occur in Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Detailed description, ecology along with phenology and colour photoplate are provided for easy identification.
